Scope of services
Balaji provides freight forwarding, ocean and air cargo handling, surface and rail transport, warehousing and fulfilment, customs broking and project / heavy-lift logistics. All services are supplied subject to a written booking confirmation and, where applicable, our standard trading conditions.
Quotations
Rates quoted through the website or by our staff are indicative and valid only for the period stated. They are subject to space and equipment availability, carrier surcharges, currency movement and statutory levies prevailing at the time of shipment. A binding contract arises only on our written confirmation of a booking.
Customer obligations
- Provide accurate and complete shipment, cargo and documentary information.
- Ensure goods are correctly described, classified, packed and labelled, and are not prohibited or undeclared dangerous goods.
- Hold all licences and clearances required to export or import the goods.
- Settle invoices within the agreed credit terms.
Liability
